Only 530 rupees increment in 9 years of job: Instructors' salary increased to 9 thousand, teacher said - it is not possible to eat enough with this salary

The UP government has increased the salary of 27 thousand 555 part-time instructors from 7 to 9 thousand. On 26 April, Education Minister Sandeep Singh appeared in front of the media at Annexe Bhawan in Lucknow. Told that the proposal proposed by the Basic Education Department to increase the salary of part-time instructors has been passed. After this decision of the government, the instructors gave their response to the tweets of Sandeep Singh and CM Yogi Adityanath.

He tweeted the video of the announcements made by Sandeep Singh in front of the media at 1.30 am. The 77-second video got 420 comments. In this, 250 comments were from the instructor teachers, who seemed angry with the decision. Read this tweet and the five comments that came on it.

Kamil Akhtar wrote; "Do one more favor to the instructors. Throw us out. Don't leave your job because you've wasted 10 years of your life."

Sudarshan Tripathi wrote; "Now you have lost hope. We have given a lot of respect to the instructor teachers by deducting Rs.1470 and increasing them to Rs.2000. We only asked you for remuneration to lead a dignified life."

Kanhaiya Lal Chauhan wrote; "Education Minister, the instructors who are seen are BPed instructors. There are 46 thousand junior high schools in the state. The post of instructors has been created, in which 32 thousand are vacant. Please give appointments."

Luv Kumar Singh wrote to; the Minister, "The honorarium of the instructor was ordered by the court and the government from 2017 to 17 thousand. In today's inflation, our honorarium has been reduced from 8470 to 7000 and now 2000 has been increased. Where is this justice?"

Jitendra Pandey wrote; "At least if you would have kept the old promise and gave it to the new government, you would have been a favorite. Maharaj Ji has decided to ruin the life of the instructors."

In response to all these comments, things like "Sahi Baat, Sahi Kaha, Haq Nahi Milan" were written. Some instructors are demanding to give rights in the comment box of the tweets of CM Yogi Adityanath and Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak. What is their right after all? What is their demand? Whether that demand can be met, first understand their issue.

Instructors recruited in upper primary schools on a salary of 7 thousand

In 2013, 41,307 instructors were recruited in upper primary schools for classes 6th to 8th. Instructional teachers were hired to teach physical education, arts, computers, and agricultural science. The starting salary was fixed at Rs 7000. In this, 60% of the money was given by the central government and 40% by the state government.

SP government extended it, but the BJP government took it back

In 2016, the then Akhilesh government increased the salary of instructor teachers by Rs 1,470. Now he started getting Rs 8470. But, after the formation of the BJP government in 2017, it was recovered from the teachers, who said that the Rs 1470 increase in the SP government was wrong.

In 2017, the UP government sent a proposal to the Union HRD Ministry to raise the salary of teacher teachers to 17 thousand. The Project Approval Board looked at everything and approved 17 thousand. He agreed to give 10 thousand 200 of his share. But the state government was not ready to give 6 thousand 800 of its share.

After getting the approval of the Central Government, the meeting of the State Executive Committee was held. The then Education Minister Anupama Jaiswal approved 9 thousand 800 rupees while making changes in 17 thousand. However, teachers never got this salary.

The court said 7 thousand wrong and asked to pay 17 thousand

Instructor teachers went to court with their demands. The Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court termed the decision of the State Government as wrong. Judge Rajesh Singh Chauhan said that the executive committee of the state has no right to reduce the salary. His decision is illegal. He should give the outstanding amount to the teachers with nine percent interest.

Even after the decision of Lucknow Bench, the instructor teachers did not get a salary. Instructor teachers filed a petition in Allahabad High Court. On September 11, 2020, the court considered the salary of 7 thousand as exploitation. The court sought a reply from the state government. The government did not respond and reached the Supreme Court and took a stay on the decision of the Allahabad High Court. The Supreme Court will pronounce its verdict on May 12, 2022.

This is the situation till now. But even in the midst of all this, many such things annoy the instructor teachers. He has told his point in 6 points.

Instructors get a salary for 11 months, not 12 months in a year. Instructor teachers say that the government can give 13 months' salary to the employees of many departments in a year, so can it not give us the full 12 months.

Sudarshan Tripathi says that in 9 years our salary has increased by Rs 530. Is there any other employee in the country who is working on the same salary for 9 years?

Kamil Akhtar asks that in 2017 the Yogi government had passed the proposal of 17 thousand salaries for the instructors. Now he is calling it an achievement by increasing by 2 thousand. While it is nothing.

Kanhaiya Lal says that in any school where there were less than 100 children, the instructors were fired from their jobs. Now the one who has been working for so many years now where should he go?

Priyanka Yadav says there is no such thing as maternity leave for female instructors. Now even the big government companies of the country give leave.

Ashok Kumar says that a secure job is the most important thing, Instructor teachers should be regularized in their posts. They also say that even if the salary remains at 17 thousand.
